Responsibilities of the City Attorney

The City Attorney's Office:

• Provides legal advice to all City of Natchez officials and departments in matters associated with existing as well as future operations
• Attends all regularly scheduled meetings of the Board of Aldermen as well as departmental meetings when needed
• Represents the city in legal actions filed on behalf of the city or against the city
