President's Message

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about our community. We hope you enjoy learning about Natchez and all we have to offer. Our area is a special place, and there is no place else on earth with the unique mix of history, culture, and diversity that we enjoy. Tourism is our largest industry, and we love to welcome visitors to the area and share our love of history and the love of our community with the world.

There is always something fun and entertaining going on in the area. From the famous Natchez Spring Pilgrimage and the Great Mississippi River Balloon Race, to the Music Festival, to Christmas in Natchez, City of Lights, most weekends are always busy with activities for young and old alike.

Aside from the fun things we have to offer, our area is a great place to live and work too. With a number of great public and private schools facilities from which to choose, educational options are plentiful. In addition, both Copiah-Lincoln Community College and Alcorn State University have campuses in the area offering a number of degree fields from which to choose.

The business climate is good in the Natchez Area as well with great infrastructure already in place and quite a bit of developable land available for sale or lease. From biofuel companies to high-end boutiques, the area continues to see new businesses locate in the area due to its central location on the Mississippi River and the amazing quality of life the area offers to employees of a business.

The pillar is part of our chamber logo, as we hope to be identified as a strong anchor for our community. With over 350 members our mission, is to be "the positive, independent, voice for business." Please contact us if you want to learn more about our great community, or how to become a member of our Chamber.
